Unique Holiday Dessert Ideas

Everyone seems to be shaking things up and baking at home for the holidays… and I want in! My “new” little kitchen is the cutest and I’m ready to get my beginner culinary skills put to the test.

I’ve been in the mood to create something unique though. There’s nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie (my husband would love me for that), but I want to show my skills of a little. Below is a list of dessert ideas that I brainstormed on my own and am thinking of bringing to life soon:

1) Eggnog-infused sugar cookies topped with crushed roasted cinnamon pecans

2) Chai-infused shortbread bars with candied oranges and brown-bourbon drizzle

3) Espresso-infused mousse aux chocolate topped with peppermint cookie crumble

4) Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal bars topped with white chocolate and dark chocolate drizzles

5) Pumpkin cream pie bites served on graham cracker squares topped with whipped coconut cream

6) Christmas-tree-shaped bundt cake garnished with peppermint leaves and topped with powdered “snow”

7) Chocolate port infused sponge cake served with a berry gelato and whipped cream

8) Matcha tea cream-filled puffs (choux a la creme) served with fresh red berries

9) Multi-tiered fresh fruit and cream layered Black Forest cake garnished with fresh peppermint sprigs

10) Mini chocolate cups filled with layers of whipped cream and holiday berries, topped with shimmery sprinkles
