[D]MV Brunch Highlight: Moon Rabbit at the Intercontinental DC Wharf

moon rabbit dc x espressofied

Tuesdays are the day of the week when I book our weekend brunch plans (*hint, hint*: make your brunch reservations)! I look for brunch experiences that are unparalleled: delectable food, beautifully crafted drinks, top-notch service, and --if possible-- by the water. Life is too short to spend time/money on sub-par experiences.

This past Sunday, we enjoyed a most scrumptious brunch at Moon Rabbit by Chef Kevin Tien located at the Intercontinental DC Wharf. Simpy wonderful!

Moon Rabbit offers waterfront patio views, perfectly balanced cocktails, first-class service, and delicious dishes featuring modern Vietnamese cuisine as well as east-meets-west favorites.

📍 Washington, D.C.

What we enjoyed:
🍹Passion Fruit Mimosas (passion fruit cordial, prosecco, orange juice)
🍹Coconut Rum Punch (coconut milk clarified- rum blend, Drambuie, banana liqueur, Thai basil/chamomile tea, passionfruit, grapefruit, lime, pink peppercorn)
🍽 French Toast (coconut, whipped cream, red-eye condensed milk syrup, powdered sugar)
🍽 Vege Breakfast Bowl (coconut curry rice, seasonal greens bean sprouts, beechwood mushrooms, poached egg, ginger scallion)
🧁Saigon Cinnamon Roll (cream cheese frosting, jack fruit jam)

Brunch at Moon Rabbit is offered every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm (we made reservations for 11:00 am on the patio).

The Wharf offers a vibrant waterfront dining scene and brunch is beauteous.

Our compliments to the chef!
Chef Tien’s menu is a love letter to his heritage as a first-generation Asian-American and showcases dishes that tell his personal story through an elevated lens.

Whether having brunch, cocktails, and/or dinner here, Chef Tien's offerings do not disappoint!
