How to Look Zoom Glam for the Holidays

It’s that time of year and, more than ever, we’re FaceTime’ing, Zoom’ing, and HouseParty’ing for the holidays!

SnoBee Chic founder, Smita Sharma, gives 6 tips on how to look zoom glam for the holidays:

1) PONYTAIL
Easy slicked back (middle part or no part) ponytail. This is a great look for when you want to keep it professional, but stay trendy. It doesn’t matter if your hair is freshly washed or a bit greasy from not having washed it in a few days! This style is the perfect fix for any day of the week. Grab one of our SnoBee Chic ponytails in a variety of lengths and colors ($150) to add length and fullness, or spice things up with a fun hair tie or accessory for a more festive flare.

2) CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS
These easy add-ons are a quick way to add instant volume to your hair. Our SnoBee Chic hair extensions come in varying widths in a set of 7 pieces. You can use one to seven pieces depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. But even two pieces, combined with a curling iron technique, can give your hair waves and body. We’ll have you looking like a star on zoom!

3) LASHES
Don’t shy away from strip lashes, which are much more cost-effective than lash extensions and allow you the versatility of taking them on and off as you please. Adding a set of lashes can instantly add volume, femininity, and glam to your look. Our SnoBee Chic 3D mink goddess lashes are my go-to choice in a quick zoom pinch, and they’re only $14.99.

4) BLUSH
Blush is one of my favorite makeup items. A good blush can give your skin an instant pick-me-up by adding color and rosiness to your cheeks. This quick-fix makes your skin look healthier and gives it more vitality. Make sure to choose the right blush color and brand based on your skin tone and type, but NARS is a go-to pioneer in the world of flushed cheeks. My personal favorite pick is their Torrid powder blush ($30).

5) LIPSTICK
Sometimes all you need is a bold lip, and nothing else. You can’t go wrong with a nice festive red for the holidays. A red lip adds polish to your look, and my go-to fiery red is Viva Glam by MAC ($19).

6) BROWS
Most women understand by now how important good brows can be. They’re a really important facial feature that can change your entire look by framing your face and accentuating your eyes. Having your eyebrows done alone, with nothing else, is somewhat of an instant makeover. I like to give my brows a more defined look by filling them in where they are sparse, or by defining their edge. A great tool for this is my favorite brow pencil, Anastasia Brow Wiz ($23). It’s a two-in-one product that comes with both a brush and pencil. The pencil is used for precision, while the brush helps blend the applied color for a more natural look.
