Easy, Simple, and Luxe: DIY Hand Scrub
DIY hand scrub, but make it WFH...
Hand-washing is so IN right now, so I have some tips on how to make it luxe! While we’re working from home, have time to care for ourselves, and can do a lot of good with simple ingredients, let’s make our own natural sugar scrub! 💋
The one I use is luxurious from The W Nail Bar, but since we are not going out to buy products right now, let's make a version in the comfort of your own home! #flattenthecurve
RECIPE
☕️ Coffee grounds (use the leftover stuff from the coffee you made earlier!)
💛 Sugar: Any kind
💛Oil: Coconut, olive, avocado, or grapeseed oils are great
🍋 Optional add-ins: Vitamin E oil, essential oil of your choice, and/or zest of any citrus fruit of your choice (such as lemon or orange).
DIRECTIONS
💛 Put it all into a jar and mix together.
Add more of each ingredient until it becomes the consistency you see in my hands in this picture.
💧Wash hands, put scrub between palms, rub hands together for 20-40 seconds, rinse off, and pat dry!
NOTE: If you use coconut oil, it may harden. That's normal! Just spoon the mix out into your hands when you're ready to use it, rub it between your palms, and it will start to melt again.
