4 Tips to Boost Confidence Through Clothing

1) Select clothing that makes you proud to wear them
I pick apparel and accessories that best suit me, as do my husband and daughter. Whether our clothing is comfy, trendy, professional, loungy, dressy, or other-- we tend to focus on the most important items of the day instead of worrying about how we look. If we are happy with the clothing we buy, it shows. The same for you. People notice how good you are feeling when you wear clothes you feel good in.

2) Find your colors
According to the European Journal of Social Psychology, colors play a big role in one's state of mind. Choose to wear colors that reflect what emotions you want to feel that day. Reds boost confidence, orange creates enthusiasm, yellows can bring cheer, greens add vitality, blues are calming, black can mean sophistication and/or solemnity, and so on. Find colors that suit you!

3) Wash with effective laundry detergent
