Growing out of old habits

I’m going
Going in the direction of my dreams

Things are changing
Changing for the better in life

But why am I feeling so alone?

Friends change
But maybe I’m the one changing

No one cares
Maybe I’m the one who shouldn’t care

Fun times are fading
Fading because new ones are forming

Time for my tone to change.

I gain courage
Courage knowing I’m moving in the right direction

I don’t look back
But acknowledge how I’m feeling

I feel sad temporarily
But where I’m headed is much better

My future is waiting for me to show up.”
